For the Love of Wine

WHY DO I SUPPORT THE IIIB’S FOUNDATION?

I have family history of breast cancer, my Aunt at 45 and my Mom at 70. So, I had the BRCA gene test done years ago, and I was negative. Little did I know the false hope that brought every year when I walked into get my mammogram. Each time I walked in the waiting room, I always say special prayers knowing that several women in the room will get bad news.  Never imagining that I would be the one diagnosed with Stage 1 ductal Carcinoma. I believe my strong Faith in God helped bless me and get me through it with “Pink flying colors!” That is why it is important to me to give back to others going through breast cancer.

So, for the past 7 years of survival, I have hosted events to benefit the IIIB’s Foundation. Please join me on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 from 6 to 9:00 PM for an exclusive release of 6 wines from Paso Robles, created by my hometown, Vienna Vintner, Victor Mendes.  The wine shop is a beautiful Stone house on Route 123 in Vienna, which some of his wines have on the label.
